Spring Nature Walk

We went on a Spring Nature walk recently and saw lots of buds -soft,sharp and sticky ones of different colours.We saw pretty flowers as well.

Gardening

We planted peas today with Kaye Sinnott.We have to look after them until they are ready in June.

Rocket launch

We did a Rocket Launch experiment today with a bottle.We filled it one third full of water and then pumped air into it.It launched into the air after about twenty pumps!It was funny.                                                         

Learning about Africa

We watched a great cartoon called Kirikou this week about a small African boy who is very brave and fearless.

We looked at pictures of people who live in Kenya and learned about their lives - the food they eat,the animals they have,how they get water,where they shop etc...
