Our Easter pictures

The children did lovely bright Easter pictures to counteract the vampire ones!

Our vampire names

Our letter of the week this week was v.We discovered that if we put v at the start of our names ,they sound like vampire names. So we wrote our vampire names and drew pictures to go with them!

Playing claves with Marsha

The children are learning so much with Marsha ,our wonderful music teacher. They are singing and playing and composing -fabulous to see.
They played claves ,cymbals and shakers the other day and their rhythm was brilliant!

Painting Easter Eggs

We painted Easter eggs this week to put into the baskets Kayleigh bought us.

Number 9

We had fun with the number 9 this week -making it at different tables, hiding 9 eggs around the classroom, bringing 9 teddies to the park in a game..

Tadpoles

Mrs Geraghty 's class have tadpoles and are watching them grow.We paid a visit the other day.

Learning about Africa

We saw a fabulous cartoon called Kirikou ,about a young African boy who is very brave and keeps saving his village.
We looked at pictures of Kenya afterwards and learned about life in Kenya - baobab trees, kiondo bags ,getting water from far away, school life etc...

Spring nature walk

We went on a nature walk looking for signs of spring. We saw lots of buds- sharp, sticky and fluffy ones.We will go on another in a few weeks to see how the trees  have changed.

Pizza treat

We had pizza as a treat for how well the children were behaved at the Town Hall Theatre.Delicious!

Ariel comes all the way from Argentina!
